Volunteer workers
Refreshments

Chairs and tables.
PA system or ability for Dale Lee to connect his ’s wireless microphone
equipment into the meeting a room’s existing PA system.
2. Volunteers Provided by the Primary Church
The Primary church will provide volunteers to provide the necessary services at events such as
collect the fees, register attendees, provide directions to attendees, serve refreshments, etc.
The LM2DM Project staff will provide training for the volunteers by written instructions and live
instructions prior to the start of the Presentation Event.
Forms when needed will be provided by LM2DM Project staff.
The Presentation events’ content will typically be non denominational in orientation. This permits
churches to partner together with churches that belong to different denominations.
A church can partner with an association of churches, school, etc.
4. Day of the Presentation (Does not apply to “only sermon” on Sunday morning)
For each presentation, a list of things to do will be prepared for each presentation. Dale Lee will
arrive at the location of the event 90 minutes before the first event is scheduled to begin so he can
setup his material and inspect the facilities to make sure the facilities are in the agreed order.
Volunteers that will handle registration activities, greet people, serve refreshments, etc. will be at
the church 90 minutes before the first event is scheduled to begin so they can receive instructions
for conducting their duties.
5. Breaks and Refreshments Served During and Between Events
The Primary church will determine if refreshments will or will not be served and the type of
refreshments that will be served. The Primary church will make arrangements for serving
refreshments and cleaning up after the serving of the refreshments.
If a meal will be served, the Primary church will make all arrangements for the serving of the meal
and the cleaning up after the meal.
The serving of a meal and refreshments will be coordinated with the planning of the Presentation
Events to make sure appropriate time is allowed for break times and the meal.
6. How a Church Can Recover the Cost of the Presentation Fee and Expenses
A fee can be charge to each person that attends a Presentation Event. The charged fee can be
used to cover some or all of the Presentation Fee and expenses. If a fee is charged each person,
the Primary church is responsible for selecting the amount that is charged. The Primary church is
responsible for collecting and tabulating the collection of the fee.
If the fee collected is more than the Presentation Fee and expenses to be reimbursed to Dale Lee,
the Primary church keeps the overage amount. If more than one church sponsors the Presentation
Events, the Primary church will decide how to handle the overage amount collected.
Presentation Fee and expenses will be paid by two checks and given to Dale Lee before he leaves
the premise. It is the responsibility of the Primary church or sponsoring organization to give the
checks to Dale Lee.
A church member may be willing to make a donation to the church that will cover the cost of the
church having Dale Lee conduct Presentation training events.
A Love offering is an amount that a person freely gives to Dale Lee at an event. The total amount
collected as Love offerings from the people attending the Presentation event is to be given to Dale
Lee. Any amount collected over the Presentation Fee amount is due to be given to Dale Lee by
the Primary church.
If a Love Offering is taken, a written statement will be provided by the Primary church to Dale
Lee listing the total amount collected through the Love Offering.
Checks used to make a Love offering will be made out to the Primary church. The Primary
church will give to Dale Lee a check for the amount of the collected Love offering. If the Love
offering received is less than the Presentation Fee, the Primary church will make up the difference
to reach the Presentation Fee amount.
8. Donation Given to Support the LM2DM Project Ministry
As of now, the Learn More 2 Do More Project has not received from the IRS the non profit
designation. Money given to the LM2DM Project is currently not tax deductible.
If a person wants to donate money to support the LM2DM Project, a check will be make out to
Learn More 2 Do More Project and sent to the LM2DM Project’s office. A receipt for the check
will be mailed to the donor.
Checks written to pay for the expense of attending a Presentation Event will be made out to the
Primary church. If a check is mistakenly made out to Learn More 2 Do More Project instead of
the Primary church, Dale Lee will endorse the check over to the Primary church.
9. Expenses the Client Pays or Reimburses Dale Lee
The following types of expenses will be paid by the client (primary church). If these types of expenses are paid by Dale Lee, the client will reimbursed him.
Motel (Housing). Meals at location and during travel. Handouts provided by Dale Lee. Novelties promotion items. Long distance telephone calls. Travel (mileage driven by a vehicle, airline ticket, taxi, etc.) Food/meals. Shipping material expenses. Long distance phone expense. Material that will be used in the seminar. Local advertising. Special expense for the specific seminar. Promotional activities. Signs, direction, etc. at the seminar locations. Paid assistants at the seminar. Incidental expense for a specific seminar. Sponsoring organization and Primary church will have the motel expenses billed to it. The mileage fee charged will be milage amount established by the Internal Revenue Service. Depending on the situation, there may be a charge for custom designed seminars. |
If the Primary church makes the copies and binds the handouts, there will not be a charge for the handouts except for the preparing and shipping of the material that will be copied. The Primary church will decide how the handouts will be bound.
If Dale Lee provides the handouts, there will be a charge of $5.50 per handout to the Primary church. Normally the handout will be prepared with a comb binding or a three ring folder.
If more people attend the seminar than was expected, the Primary church is responsible for making and binding the additional handouts. The unexpected additional handouts can be bound using staples.
11. Dale Lee’s Wife Participation
When possible, Dale’s wife, Linda, will travel with Dale. When she travels with him, the Primary church will pay for her expenses. When her work schedule permits, she will travel with Dale and participate in the Presentation Events.
When a Primary church books a motel room for Dale Lee, the following will be used to select a motel and room.
The room will be clean.
The room will have double beds. One of beds will become a work area.
The room will be a non smoking room.
A room with refrigerator would be preferred.
A coffee maker in the room is not needed.
The motel can be a member of a low cost motel chain.
The room will have an internet access without the service being an additional cost.
Dale Lee will be notified of the name, address, and telephone number of the motel. He will be given the name and phone number of a member of the Primary church that will be his contact person when he is at the motel. |
Dale Lee normally eats light meals or small quantities of food at typical meal. He prefers to conduct events on an empty stomach or not eat a couple of hours before the event begins. If a meal is served before a Presentation, Dale Lee will eat a small quantity of food during the meal.
The Primary church is responsible for reimbursing Dale Lee for the round trip mileage to the site
if he drives. The round trip mileage will consist of the mileage traveling to the site and doubling
the mileage to get the round trip mileage. This is done to enable the mileage to be paid to Dale
Lee before he leaves the site of the Presentation.
If Dale Lee stays at a Presentation site overnight and drives his vehicle before leaving the site to
travel home, this mileage can be estimated based on the anticipated mileage driven. The way this
mileage will be handled will be agreed to by Dale Lee and the person representing the Primary
church.
If a client is not satisfied with one of the Presentation Events, he will complete the Dissatisfaction
With The Presentation form. After Dale Lee talks with the client and the client is still dissatisfied
with the presentation, the client and Dale Lee will reach an agreement on what will be done to
make the client feel better. Even if part or all of the Presentation Fee is waved, the expenses will
still be due to Dale Lee.
If possible, another presentation will be booked for the client at one-half of the normal
Presentation Fee for the dissatisfied client.
If the dissatisfied client is partnering with a Primary church, the Primary church representative wil
participate in the meeting between Dale Lee and the dissatisfied client.
